In late 2024, actress Temitope Osoba’s life changed when she discovered a lump in her breast during a self-exam. Though initially dismissed, further tests confirmed it was cancer. Fearing the worst, she was relieved to learn the disease was contained and would not require mastectomy or chemotherapy.

She underwent surgery to remove the lump, followed by radiation therapy. The journey was emotionally and financially draining, prompting public appeals from colleagues like Foluke Daramola and Alesh Sanni to help raise funds for her treatment.
