Afrobeats superstar Davido is set to tie the knot with his long-time partner Chioma Adeleke in a lavish white wedding on August 10, 2025, but a recent revelation by media personality Radiogad has stirred social media over one notable name allegedly missing from the guest list—VeryDarkMan.
The wedding, which has been the focus of public attention for weeks, is expected to be one of the most high-profile celebrity events of the year, attracting an exclusive circle of 30BG crew members, prominent entertainers, business associates, and family. However, Radiogad claims that the outspoken online critic, known for his unfiltered commentary, was deliberately not invited.
In a video making the rounds online, Radiogad alleged that Davido made the decision due to VeryDarkMan’s tendency to divert attention to himself. He recalled the influencer’s presence at the couple’s traditional wedding in Nigeria, where, according to him, VeryDarkMan shifted the post-event narrative in a controversial direction.
“After the traditional wedding, he went back to his one-room apartment at the time and started calling out people who attended. It became more about him than the couple,” Radiogad said.
The broadcaster further claimed that Davido personally contacted him to seek advice on whether inviting VeryDarkMan to the white wedding would be wise. He advised against it, saying the singer should avoid any potential distraction from what is meant to be a celebration of love and commitment.
“If Davido had invited VeryDarkMan, we no go hear word. By the time he gets back to Nigeria, the event would become all about him,” Radiogad stated.
