Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo, has taken to her social media platform to express her frustration with Nigerians over their inaction towards towards death.

In a recent post, the actress lamented the death of young musician, Mohbad, who was allegedly killed by his former record label, Marlian, while pointing out that Nigerians are quick to talk about injustice but fail to take action towards ensuring accountability.

Uche Ogbodo emphasized on the inconsistency of Nigerians calling for those going through difficult times to speak out yet they themselves laugh and make fun of them when they do.

She insisted that unless Nigerians are completely prepared, they are not yet ready enough to tackle the problem heads on.

My God!!
Nigerians are all talk and No action!
I’ve been seeing why not speak out clearly yen yen yen!
But the people speaking out are being laughed at and ridiculed on the blogs and their platforms! We are not ready to face this monster head-on yet! Until we are.

Until we are ready to face the elephant in the room called bullying & harassment! Rest in peace to every fallen victim of bullying & harassment” she wrote.

Her colleague, Iyabo Ojo has also declared that “she will believe and support APC if Mohbad gets justice”

The 27-year-old ex-Marlian artist’s tragic death has left the nation in shock, and Iyabo Ojo’s impassioned appeal has ignited discussions about the need for a thorough investigation.

Iyabo Ojo, expressed her anguish over the passing of the talented musician.

She emphasized the tears she has shed over the tragedy, underscoring the urgency of addressing the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.

The actress went on to question why Mohbad’s pleas seemed to have gone unheard during his lifetime.

In her words;

Honestly, I will believe and support Apc if Mohbad can get justice. That boy’s soul is crying for justice. Autopsy needed Investigation seriously needed.

Everyday I read something about him shared a tear No he cried out & no one listened to him. How? n00000000…. It’s not my business should be canceled at this moment, it’s everybodies business. His soul needs to rest #justiceformohbad.”
