Singer and disc jockey, Florence Otedola, aka DJ Cuppy, has disclosed the reason her father, Femi Otedola splashed millions of pounds to rent a luxury yacht ahead of his 60th birthday.
The Billionaire businessman recently set the internet on fire by reportedly splurging over N2.2bn to rent Aristotle Onassis’ Christina O super luxury yacht that will sail for three weeks on the Mediterranean Sea.
Counting down to his big celebration, Otedola took to his Instagram page with a post of several photos showing off moments with his family.
Speaking about her Dad’s birthday celebration, Cuppy via her Instagram page, shared fun moments with Temi Otedola, Mr Eazi and other family members on the luxury yacht.
According to her, her father as a little boy always dreamt to visit the iconic 99m super-yatcht CHRISTINA O because it was owned by his role model, Aristotle Onassis.
The entertainer further urged fans to chase their dreams, reteirated that she is happy to see that her father was able to accomplish his goals.
She wrote;

“To celebrate his 60th, not only did he visit the yacht, but has chartered it for his loved ones so we can live here for the next 3 weeks! ?⚓️ Looking at my father I can see how happy, accomplished, and still in disbelief he is. This is what love looks like ❤️ #FamilyFirst

Christina O is one of the most iconic motor yachts ever launched, best known for her grand interiors and unrivalled level of luxurious amenities.
Onassis bought the yacht in 1954, named her after his daughter Christina and transformed her into the most luxurious private yacht of her time.
Some high-profile guests who have also spent time on the yacht include Winston Churchill, Prince Rainer and Princess Grace, and Franklin Roosevelt Jr.
Christina O, which comes at a hefty six-figure per week charter cost, has 17 staterooms, a 40-person dining room, hot tub, piano and a swimming pool that can be covered and converted to a dance floor.
