‘Calm Down’ By Rema Garners Over One Billion Streams Online

Rema has attained an incredible feat with his hit song, ‘Calm Down,’ only nine months after its release.

The song has received more than one billion streams across all music streaming services, including iTunes, Spotify, and AudioMack. ‘Calm Down’ was released as a lead track off Rema’s debut album, ‘Raves & Roses,’ on February 11, 2022.

‘Calm Down’ was certified Diamond after garnering fifty million (50,000,000) streams-equivalent in France in September, two months after attaining Platinum certification in the European country.

Rema upgraded the song by remixing it with American songstress Selena Gomez. This instantly increased the international visibility of the song and contributed to its success even more.

The ‘Calm Down’ remix earned the Mavin Records poster boy his first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 74 and number 16 on the United Kingdom Official Singles Chart. The track has received over 141 million streams on Spotify alone.

The video for Rema and Selena Gomez’s ‘Calm Down’ remix gave fans a memorable tune to calm their minds down and put their stereos on lockdown as a song to put on repeat.
