In a recent interview, Mr. Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, opened up about the challenging family dynamics surrounding his son’s life and untimely demise.
Mr. Aloba disclosed that his son, Mohbad, had faced considerable difficulties in maintaining peace within his marriage. He claimed that his daughter-in-law, Mohbad’s wife, caused him (Mohbad) considerable distress.
He claimed that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi usually transfers money from the singer’s phone whenever he is asleep.
Mr. Aloba also revealed that despite the love his son has for him, Mohbad was prevented from making substantial contributions to support him or their family. Tragically, Mohbad wasn’t able to even purchase a single building block before his unfortunate demise.
Speaking in Yoruba, he went on to assert that his son was faced with various difficulties, both within their home and outside.
Aloba maintained that Mohbad’s death was caused by internal and external factors.

He has bills to pay ,outfit, photoshoot etc. Husband family always assume their son has more than what they see,if he did not buy block so its the wife’s fault? Most of this men will rather not buy blocks even when the wife advise, they will always say I will make bigger money to buy a house not blocks. I don’t even see mohbad and his wife living a big lifestyle, so I guess the family was thinking he has more money.”

And where in Yoruba land is it written that a father should inherit his child’s property? It’s suppose to be a taboo to you even if it’s offered. Him wife no give him peace at home yen yen yen, was marriage supposed to be rosy all the time? You should tell us about the days she gave him peace too since you know very much.
