Kemi Korede builds house for her parents, shares emotional journey from foundation to finish

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Kemi Korede is beaming with gratitude as she accomplishes a long-held dream of building a house for her parents.

The Yoruba movie star took to Instagram to share the emotional journey, not just in words but in a heartfelt video that captured every step of the process, from the very first block laid to the final furnishing touches. Kemi wrote:

“My heart is filled with joy and happiness.

“God of possibility has made my dream come true.”

The video, which has now gone viral, shows Kemi Korede on-site at various stages of the construction. She could be seen walking across the bare foundation, checking in during the roofing phase, and finally revealing the completed, painted, and fully furnished home.

In her emotional caption, the actress expressed deep appreciation to God, calling Him the “God of possibility” for helping her achieve the dream through sheer determination and hard work. Kemi Korede who recently marked her birthday shared:

“I have always wished to do this for my parents. With hard work and determination, God has granted my wish in a beautiful way.

“Alhamdulilah Robil Al’Amin.”

Kemi didn’t stop there. In a tone filled with humility, she extended thanks to everyone who played a role in her journey. From brands that partnered with her, to her colleagues in the industry, to friends and family who came out to celebrate with her and her parents. She wrote:

I want to say a very big thank you to all my brands,you all Made the best come out of me By trusting me with your brands..it is my pleasure working with you all, and I am grateful

To my Co-Producers, My Directors, All cast and crews I have worked for and worked with..thank you for believing in me…”
